The

CHALLENGE

The primary challenge was to create a cohesive brand identity for a specialized medical society with a complex acronym: HDMVOM. The client wanted a logo that incorporates the letters M, V, O, M while maintaining a professional, authoritative and medical-focused tone. The objective was to design a mark that feels expert-driven yet approachable, avoiding the typical clichés of the medical industry.

STRATEGY

Instead of treating the letters as separate entities, I approached the logo as a puzzle, weaving the letters together to form a unified, abstract mark. To add a layer of human-centric expertise, a subtle human figure was integrated into the geometry of the letters. This emphasizes that while the field is technical and legal, at its heart, it is about people and medical assessment.

Visual

IDENTITY

The final identity moves away from the standard clinical blues, opting for a refined palette that feels both medical and modern. An intricate composition where the letters M, V, O, and M flow into one another, forming the silhouette of a human figure. This represents the intersection of medicine, law and human expertise.

Digital

PRESENCE

The website was designed with a focus on authority and accessibility. Given the academic and professional nature of the society, the layout is clean and highly structured, ensuring that members and visitors can easily navigate through expert resources, news and organizational information.

DESIGN

Given that medical and legal professionals often access resources on the go, a mobile approach was essential. I focused on ensuring that the complex navigation and dense information remain highly readable and intuitive across all devices.
