The
CHALLENGE
The challenge was to encapsulate the intangible – a brand built entirely on the foundation of nostalgia and long-lost memories. Before the first physical piece is revealed, the identity needed to communicate a deep sense of belonging and a return to one’s roots. The goal was to design a visual sanctuary for stories that are yet to be told, sparking a quiet curiosity in the audience.
The
STRATEGY
Instead of showcasing a product, I am showcasing a feeling: the warmth of looking back. By using a visual language that feels both aged and timeless, I aimed to create an emotional bridge between the past and the future. The narrative is intentionally subtle, inviting the viewer to fill in the blanks with their own personal history while waiting for Rhea to unveil its full form.
Visual
IDENTITY
The visual identity acts as a quiet messenger of the brand’s soul, utilizing a palette and forms that feel like a faded photograph coming back to life. The delicate, handwritten feel of the Amandine script represents the intimacy of personal notes and old letters, while Montserrat provides a grounded, professional structure for the brand’s future. From the earthy tones to the ‘postal’ details, every element is designed to feel like a cherished keepsake.
